Nintendo Wii - Efficient For 2D and 3D Games

With the changing times, the whole aspect of playing games too have undergone a global transformation. Earlier games were categorized into two parts indoor and outdoor games. While outdoor games comprised mainly of games like football, cricket etc. and indoor games included the likes of chess, ludo etc.

But as the time progressed indoor gaming got another name of video games. These games are the games which are played on screen with the help of remote controllers. This revolution in indoor gaming attracted a lot of people and created a pool of them. With changing times, the gaming concept underwent a remarkable change and Nintendo took the advantage of the situation and brought many games into the market. Earlier these games were only meant for age group up to 15. but later on many companies started to bring games that were meant for adults and teenagers too.

But when Nintendo launched Nintendo Wii, a gaming console meant for every video game fanatic, the reaction of indoor game lovers was there to be seen. This gaming console was efficient in every way to play every kind of game, be it 2D or 3D version.

Along with this gaming console there are many accessories such as sports disc, remote, console stand and many other things that also come with it. Also it has a completely different controller which looks much like a remote control of TV. It is the gaming console meant for the entire family.

Earlier this gaming console was not within the reach of every game lover. But Nintendo understood this problem and with their consistent efforts brought down the price of the console considerably and made it every house hold commodity. Earlier the game CDs used to be very costly but Nintendo has brought down the prices of Nintendo Wii games to a reasonable level. Consumer can now buy these games any where as they are now available at cheap price.

It is expected that in future the prices of Nintendo Wii gaming (Nintendo Wii console and cheap Wii games) will come further down because of the rising competition among the gaming consoles manufacturers, who are trying hard to get at the position at which Nintendo is right now. Also the Nintendo company is trying to cut down the prices of its games in an order to make them more cheaper.

Wii Roms - A Beginners Guide

People who have bought a Wii console would be using that to load on new games which keep on hitting the market every now and then. There are also roms that are available which you can download for free and get the latest games on these roms.

First let me explain what a rom is as you will keep hearing the term rom every now and then. Rom put in simple words is a name for the data which is on a CD or game cart. You can download these roms and can save money on the expensive games. Getting your hands on a Wii itself is very challenging and it takes effort and time to locate a wii retailer location. Even if you go online there is a huge waiting list at every online retailer. That means you will have to buy either in an online auction or buy a steep price which usually means buying the games and the console in a bundle.

The next step once you have bought the console is to get a few games to play and some games you would have bought but almost every other day you a new game in the market and for that there are inexpensive options available in terms of roms.

These roms need to work but as such the Wii will not accept the new games as they are not the original games. So what you need to do is have that Wii console taken apart and then put in a new chip inside it. These chips are Wiid, Cyclowiz, DC2key and several others which keep on coming every now and then. These chips are then soldered inside the wii console to enable the console to read the rom properly.

A note of caution is that once you have modified the console to put in a new chip the warranty is no longer valid on the console. Also these roms and downloading is not legal as far as copyright is concerned. So be pretty sure that this is what you would want to do.
There are a few technical things that will be needed so downloading rom is not the only thing you need to be expert at some technical stuff yourself or at least reading through the maze of technical stuff available online.

The roms is the most hotly searched item on the internet right now and correctly so. Who will not like to have a free wii game or games and you would never ever have to bother buying a wii again.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Review - Xbox 360

Being a fan of the original Ninja Gaiden series, you could have imagined my excitement when NG was released for the Xbox. The game was non stop action and a difficulty level great enough to challenge even us hardcore gamers.

The main story in the game is that a woman representing the CIA is looking for Ryu, and in doing so, she gets captured in the process. After saving her, you find out that the enemies are after the demon statue that's hidden away in the Hayabusa Village. The statue has the power to awaken greater fiends that are slumbering throughout the world. This game is a supposed prequel or takes place before the events in Ninja Gaiden 1 for the NES.

Ninja Gaiden 2 follows the tradition of "No way this game is that hard" difficulty. The enemies in the game have been given a higher difficulty level and they always attack you in groups greater than 3. On screen, I have encountered at least 8 active enemies thirsting for my blood and didn't encounter any slow down.

The new feature of being able to chop off your enemies limbs is a great new addition. It makes things a little more interesting because some enemies become more dangerous when their trying to kill you with one arm. Example, in the first couple of levels there will be an enemy that unless you finish them off will kamikaze himself and take a huge amount of health from you. Let's not forget to mention that the level of gore in the game is pretty high.

Speaking of finishing enemies off, the new obliteration moves are not only bloody, but extremely useful. These moves can be done when an enemy is hopping around on one leg. There are also new moves, new ninpo and new weapons. Just to name a few, a sickle with a weight at the end, Tonfa's and my favorite, claws.

Wall running and other jumping puzzles are still pretty much the same. There really isn't any new moves that Ryu has acquired. Guess he just trained in the ancient art of I'm going to chop your head off for looking at me the wrong way.

To end it all, I would give this game a 8.9 which is a really good score. So, whether your a fan of the series or your looking for a hella good Hack and Slash, this game should be one you add to your collection.
